I received several large scraps of upholstery fabric from my father and turned two of them into duffel coats.
Two heavy chenille fabrics in coordinating colors supplement the scrap I liked the most. The whole coat is lined with a sherpa fleece, making it hibernation ready.
For the second coat, I added three lightweight chenille fabrics in the colors of the original Charlie Brown motif. Inside there is a thick wool batting and bemberg lining.
Both coats use leather salvaged from a retired office chair to secure the toggle closures. For this one, the leather was dyed black.
